Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons, adapting materials to suit individual learning styles and needs
- Provide one-on-one support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and celebrate their successes
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes self-esteem, independence, and resilience
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers

- A genuine commitment to supporting children with SEND and a belief in their potential for growth and achievement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and families
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude in the face of challenges
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students
- A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or a related field (desirable but not essential)
