We are seeking a reliable and dedicated self‑employed cleaner to maintain the communal areas of our retirement residential development in Middlewich. This role is vital in ensuring that shared spaces remain clean, welcoming, and safe for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and maintaining communal areas including lounges, corridors, stairwells, and reception spaces
Regular dusting, vacuuming, and mopping of floors
Sanitising high‑touch surfaces such as handrails, door handles, and lift buttons
Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly
Reporting any maintenance or safety issues noticed during cleaning
Requirements – Attributes of a Good Cleaner:
Attention to detail – ensuring all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to a high standard
Reliability – consistent attendance and commitment to agreed hours and tasks
Efficiency – ability to manage time well and complete tasks promptly without compromising quality
Respectfulness – considerate and professional when working in a residential environment with older residents
