What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Caretaker to join our busy academy facilities team - a diligent site operative with the skills to liaise and work alongside the Premises Manager, cleaner, other staff and external agencies.
You would be joining an exceptional and supportive team of professionals, who make it their mission to ensure every day counts for the children. Each of our individual roles has an impact on the future of our children and so, we put them at the heart of the decisions we make and the services we provide.
This is an exciting opportunity to work for Carlton Junior Academy (Staff are proud to work at the school. Ofsted 2024). We are seeking an individual who is proactive, engaging and motivated to support the academy in continuing to achieve. In return you will receive support from the academy community, experienced site staff and staff within the Trust and their Central Teams.
We are looking for someone who is excited to be a part of this partnership, with the operational site and people skills to be an asset to our team!

The Academy is also a member of Redhill College of Leadership and Development and as such we show true commitment to supporting your CPD with excellent opportunities to work alongside colleagues from other high performing schools in the region.
