Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Due to the continued growth of our school, Hayle Academy is seeking to appoint a full-time, permanent Teacher of English. Delivering to KS3 and KS4, the successful applicant will join a high-performing Faculty and play a key role in inspiring and supporting our students to achieve their very best.

This is an exciting time at Hayle Academy as we continue to embed our digital transformation strategy, providing teachers and students with the very best tools to enhance teaching and learning. Teaching and Learning is at the heart of our school; the successful applicant will share our commitment to delivering outstanding learning opportunities and to developing their own practice as part of a collaborative team.

Hayle Academy is a popular and inclusive community school with 630 students aged 11–16. In its most recent Ofsted (March 2022), the school was judged Good.
