Belfield Community School would like to appoint a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide classroom/1:1 support within our school, most likely within KS2.

Working hours will be from 8:30am 4pm, Monday to Friday (though there may be an element of slight flexibility with these hours).

Recent experience supporting a child 1:1, or supporting SEND children in class, would be desirable.

The successful candidate will be a skilled and enthusiastic TA, who is committed to supporting children’s learning and who relishes the challenges faced in our inclusive and successful school. A good level of maths and English is essential as is being familiar with the primary school curriculum.

The role demands a lot of patience and perseverance and may involve some physical handling and care. The successful candidate will also be expected to develop links with parents and outside agencies.
