Summary
Summary
Envoy Nation is seeking a Spirit-filled and musically gifted Assistant Pastor (Music Ministry) to lead worship, music, and creative arts. The candidate must be a born-again believer with musical excellence, strong leadership skills, and the ability to inspire the congregation into authentic worship. Understanding Afro-Caribbean worship expressions and proficiency in at least one local language is highly desirable.
Details of Duties
• Lead and oversee the Worship and Music department
• Plan, coordinate, and lead worship in services and events
• Train and mentor musicians, choir, and worship leaders
• Organise rehearsals and maintain high standards of worship
• Select songs and ensure biblical and spiritual alignment
• Encourage creativity in worship while upholding Pentecostal values
• Provide pastoral support for worship team members
• Collaborate with Senior Pastors on service planning
Skills & Experience Required:
• Strong prayer life and spiritual maturity
• Proficiency in music (vocals and/or instruments)
• Demonstrated experience leading worship in a Pentecostal setting
• Knowledge of Afro-Caribbean and contemporary worship styles
• Organisational and team leadership skills
• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Level 6)
• Experience: At least 5 years leading music ministry
Additional Notes:
• Must be willing to work Sundays and evenings
• On-call pastoral support may be required
• Occupational requirement: practising Christian (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9)
• Expected to make Envoy Nation their home church
