CARETAKER Hours: 30 hours per week Salary: Grade 4 £25,185 x 81.08% Contract: Permanent Start date: January 2026
The Governing Body of Hafod Primary School wish to appoint a trustworthy, reliable & enthusiastic person to the role of caretaker. The successful candidate will be required to undertake porterage / caretaking duties & general repairs / decoration and maintenance. The post also carries cleaning responsibilities, as well as monitoring the work of a cleaning contractor. Candidates should be well motivated, show initiative and have a flexible attitude towards the duties of the post & work that needs to be carried out at the school.
The closing date for applications is midnight on 10th December 2025. PROTECTING CHILDREN AND ADULTS AT RISK IS A CORE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SCHOOL AND COUNCIL. IN ADDITION TO THIS SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITY, THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT FOR THE ROLE WILL ALSO BE SUBJECT TO AN ENHANCED DISCLOSURE AND BARRING SERVICE CHECK.
