Summary

Your new company
Hays are partnering with one of our long-standing clients in York to find an interim full-time receptionist to join their team from January 2026, initially on a 2-month contract which could be extended to up to 6 months.

Your new role
Working Monday-Friday on-site 9am-5pm, you will be the welcoming and professional point of contact for staff and visitors to the site. This is a busy Head Office site, so you will be working alongside colleagues and visitors across all levels of the business.
Your role will include duties such as:

• Answering and transferring calls
• Welcoming visitors to the site, including health and safety briefings
• Booking and preparation of meeting and boardrooms
• Handling incoming emails and post

What you'll need to succeed
If you have a proven track record of working in a busy reception environment, strong administrative skills and thrive in a dynamic, team environment, we would love to hear from you.
Due to the location of the site, it would be desirable to have your own transport.
