Reporting to the Head of Training & Development, the recruiter will ensure a seamless recruitment process that delivers sales talent aligned with our company values and commercial ambitions.

Duties
• Partner with the Head of Training & Development, Sales Directors, and Regional Managers to understand role requirements and define success profiles for Area Business Managers and Sales Specialists.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for sales positions: job adverts, direct sourcing, CV screening, telephone/video interviews, and coordination of face-to-face interviews.
• Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, competitor mapping, and talent pooling — targeting high performers in medical device or healthcare sales.
• Screen and assess candidates for both sales ability and cultural fit, using competency-based interviewing and sales-focused assessment techniques.
• Promote GBUK Group as an employer of choice in the medical devices industry by managing a strong candidate experience and showcasing our values and growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline of future sales candidates to ensure speed of response when new roles arise.
• Track recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, quality of hire, source effectiveness) and report regularly to the Head of Training & Development.
• Collaborate with HR and Training to ensure a smooth handover of new hires into onboarding, induction, and sales training programmes.
• Continually review and refine recruitment processes to improve efficiency and candidate quality.

Essential knowledge and qualifications:

• Proven experience recruiting sales professionals (in-house or agency), ideally within medical devices, healthcare, or other technical sales industries.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and attract top-performing sales reps who deliver results.
• Strong interview and assessment skills with ability to evaluate sales competencies, resilience, and commercial drive.
• Ability to build credibility quickly with sales leaders and influence hiring decisions.
• Proactive sourcing expertise (LinkedIn Recruiter, headhunting, competitor mapping, referrals).
• Excellent relationship-building skills with candidates and stakeholders.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable knowledge and qualifications:

• Background in recruiting into NHS-facing or medical device sales roles.
• Knowledge of healthcare sales structures (territory management, KOL engagement, procurement processes).
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth SME environment.
• Familiarity with recruitment reporting tools (Power BI, ATS dashboards).
