Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Refuse / Recycling Loaders to join a dedicated team in Willand, near Tiverton. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity within the Public Sector, offering excellent long-term benefits once taken on contract, including a strong pension scheme.

Key Duties
  • Work as part of a team to collect recycling from residential addresses.

  • Load recycling and waste safely and efficiently.

  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism.

  • Follow all health and safety procedures.

Requirements
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.

  • Experience in waste or outdoor work is an advantage but not essential.

  • Full training provided.

What We Offer
  • £12.85 per hour basic pay.

  • Overtime at £19.27 per hour after 37 hours.

  • Monday to Friday, 6am-finish (typically between 1pm and 4pm).

  • Temporary to permanent opportunity with excellent public sector benefits.
