Summary
Seeking an experienced and passionate Business Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching to learners aged 14-19 and adult students across Entry Level to Level 3 programmes, including BTEC Business.
Title: Business Lecturer
Contract: Temporary
Location: Wingletye Lane, Hornchurch, RM11 3TB
Hours: 35 hours per week
Pay: £35-£40 per hour (umbrella)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and student-centred teaching, learning and assessment
- Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work and learning materials
- Support learners through tutorials, feedback, and progress monitoring
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
- Participate in enrolment, induction, and other college processes
- Ensure safeguarding, equality, and inclusive teaching practices are upheld
Requirements:
- Degree in Business or related subject
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent)
- Experience delivering BTEC/RQF Business qualifications
- Strong understanding of FE sector teaching and learner support
- Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding
