Summary


Administrator – Repairs Co-ordinator

North Bristol NHS Trust

The Wheelchair Repair and Stock Service require an enthusiastic Administrator to join our busy Equipment Service Repair and Delivery team. You will be part of one of the largest NHS trusts in the UK, based at the Bristol Centre for Enablement and arranging Service calls, controlling stock in the South Gloucester, Bath and Bristol area’s as part of our specialist team equipment provision.

YOU:

· Will have the ability to work efficiently and methodically under pressure, ensuring the correct delivery of repair service.

· Be comfortable handling a busy and demanding work load, having a flexible work ethos.

· Have a sound geographical knowledge of Bristol, Gloucestershire and surrounding areas.

· Have good interpersonal and communication skills.

· Will be comfortable dealing with patients, their families and carers on the phone.

· IT literate

· Is for 37.5 hours per week.

• Co-ordinating repairs to patients wheelchairs
• Completing relevant paperwork.
• Ordering and purchasing parts and sundries.

· Completing works orders and associated notes.
• Coordinating workload and jobs for field service engineer
• Updating records and maintain patient details.
• Comply the BCE Quality Management Systems and Southmead Health Services Trust wide policies and procedures.

· Undertake such other reasonable duties, appropriate to the grade, as agreed between the post holder and manager from time to time.

• Liaising via the telephone with patients, carers and care professionals for the delivery of repairs services, co-ordinating relevant paperwork.
• Ordering and purchasing parts and sundries to enable repairs to be made in a timely fashion.

· Completing works orders and associated notes to close down completed jobs in a timely fashion.
• Coordinating workload and jobs for field service engineers
• Make full use of computerised stock control and other systems to update records and maintain patient details.
• Comply with service requirements of the BCE Quality Management Systems and Southmead Health Services Trust wide policies and procedures.

· Undertake such other reasonable duties, appropriate to the grade, as agreed between the post holder and manager from time to time.
