Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We're looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing primary school in Tamworth, with a focus on children who require tailored support in a mainstream setting.

This welcoming school is seeking a calm, caring and confident TA to work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who may have Autism, Speech and Language Needs, ADHD and social, emotional or mental health (SEMH) difficulties.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Support pupils with a range of SEND, adapting to their individual learning needs.
- Provide consistent structure and reassurance, especially for children with SEMH or ASD.
- Work alongside the class teacher and SENDCo to implement EHCPs and learning strategies.
- Encourage communication, confidence, and positive behaviour throughout the school day.
- Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment for all.

Who We're Looking For:
- Experience supporting children with SEND, ideally in a primary school setting.
- Confident managing behaviours linked to ADHD, SEMH and ASC.
- Patient, resilient and proactive - able to build strong, trusting relationships.
- A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Must be available full-time and ready to commit to a long-term role.

Why Work with Long Term Futures?
- Long-term, stable work with the potential for a permanent role.
- No day-to-day supply - full-time consistency in one school.
- A dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placement.
- Trial days instead of formal interviews to ensure the right fit.
- Access to free CPD training, including Understanding Autism, Behaviour Management, and further professional development/refreshers.

Next Steps - Our 4-Step Process
- Apply - Submit your CV via the application page.
- Initial Call - Our team will discuss your experience and preferences.
- Trial Day - Experience the school before making a decision.
- Start Work - If the school is the right fit, you're ready to begin.

All applicants will need a valid DBS and two references to be considered for a trial day.
