Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Teacher of Geography to join our team.

The successful individual will join our Geography department and teach alongside a vibrant team. Currently we run field trips to Cumbria, Wales and also run various city visits to satisfy both Human and Physical Geography curriculum areas. OLSC is also partnered with schools in Uganda and Japan which adds an international scope to curriculum opportunities. We are a PIXL Club member and run the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme in partnership with other teams in school. We have great facilities including dedicated Geography teaching rooms each with new interactive whiteboards and access to 1-1 devices.

This post is suitable for applicants seeking an opportunity to develop their career and raise the profile of Geography at Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy, driving forward achievement for 21st century learners. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach Geography from KS3 to KS5.

The Academy is part of St Francis and St Clare Catholic Multi Academy Trust, providing quality education for children aged 3-18, and is a lead provider for the Initial Teacher Training Programme with Ambition Institute.
