Summary
We are looking for a passionate and committed Year 6 teacher to join an OFSTED rated 'good' school on the Wirral for maternity cover starting in January. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting pupils through their final year of primary school and preparing them for the transition to secondary education.
Your new role
- You will be expected to lead a Year 6 class with creativity, enthusiasm, and high expectations.
- Deliver engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Provide targeted support to ensure pupils are well-prepared for their Key Stage 2 SATs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
What you'll need to succeed
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has proven experience supporting schools with Year 6 SATs preparation and delivery.
- Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
- Is committed to raising standards and helping every child achieve their potential.
- Brings energy, resilience, and a positive attitude to school life.
