Oncology Speciality Doctor (Breast) 0.6 WTE
University Hospitals Bristol & Weston (UHBW) NHS Foundation Trust are inviting applicants for a part-time post as Oncology Specialty Doctor for Breast at the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre (BHOC). This is a 12-month post, providing care for patients with breast cancer. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to gain extensive experience in the management of patients with breast cancer, providing clinical cover in both inpatient and outpatient settings, working closely with expert oncologists.
We are looking for enthusiastic doctors with experience in oncology. The successful candidate will require flexibility and excellent communication skills as well as being reliable and well organised. You will need to be able to work both independently and as part of the multidisciplinary team.
BHOC is a leading oncology centre with state-of-the-art facilities, including an oncology inpatient ward, acute assessment area, chemotherapy day unit, clinical trials unit, and a comprehensive radiotherapy department.
The successful applicant will take part in breast oncology clinics. They will have the opportunity to undertake clinical supervision of junior doctors within the department. The post-holders will also have responsibilities to develop and contribute to continuing education, professional development, audit and research within the Trust and the University.
