Summary

Care Worker / Home Care Assistant (Rochdale)

Pay: £12.50 per hour (enhanced rate of pay for weekends & bank holidays)
Hours: Flexible / Casual / Zero-hours
Expected hours: up to 20 per week

What You’ll Do:

Provide personal hygiene care (washing, dressing, oral care, grooming, toileting) with dignity and respect
Support with mobility and safe use of aids and lifting equipment, including safe manual handling when required
Assist with medication in line with training, policy and care plans
Prepare or reheat meals, make drinks, and offer day-to-day support
Maintain a safe and tidy home environment
Offer companionship, reassurance, and meaningful conversation
Assist people to health appointments or shopping

Keep professional and accurate records and report any changes in wellbeing
We don’t rush. We focus on quality, not speed.

Who You Are:

A minimum of 1 years care experience is required. We provide full training and support.

You do need:

A caring, patient, and reliable nature
Good communication skills
Flexibility with working hours
A commitment to kindness, professionalism, reliability, teamwork, and high standards
Transport is preferred but not essential
