Join Us as a Youth Worker!
As we approach our 60th anniversary, KDYT are recruiting sessional Youth Workers to join our team, a variety of hours are available from 3 to 12 hours per week, work will mostly take place during evenings and weekends, however there are some day time hours available too.
You will be fun, engaging, patient, empathic and a good communicator, ensuring that young people’s voices are heard and they are supported to reach their full potential.
Whilst experience of working with young people is useful, KDYT recognise that some people are thinking of starting a career in Youth Work, so full training is available, with the opportunity to become a Level 2 or 3 Qualified Youth Worker, for the right candidates.
APPLICATION PROCESS.
KDYT operate a Safer Recruitment Process, this takes place over a number of stages, in the first instance we ask that you send your CV and a covering letter explaining why you would like to work as a Youth Worker at KDYT, should you be successful at this stage you will be invited to take part in the full recruitment process. Successful applicants will be required to provide two references and undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
