We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Social Worker (SSW) to join our dedicated team. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality support and intervention services to individuals and families in need. This position is ideal for someone who has at least 2 years of experience in the field and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those facing various challenges. In this role, you will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams along with community organizations to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Your expertise will contribute to the holistic care approach we take in supporting mental health and social service needs. The Senior Social Worker will also serve as a mentor to junior staff and contribute to ongoing training and development initiatives. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and situations.
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
Provide direct counseling and support to individuals and groups facing various challenges.
Advocate for clients’ access to community resources and services.
Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure their goals are met.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with regulations and organizational policies.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and other community stakeholders to coordinate care.
Lead workshops and training programs for junior social workers and other staff.
Requirements
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years experience in clinical social work or a related field.
Strong knowledge of social service systems, community resources, and applicable laws.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Demonstrated commitment to cultural competence and diversity in practice.
Hours Per Week:
Start Time: 08:45
End Time: 17:15
Pay Per Hour: £22.51
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
