We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join Micklefield CoE Primary school’s team.
The successful candidate will work under the instruction and guidance of teachers or senior staff to undertake work, care and support programmes that will enable our pupils to access learning and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. This role is to primarily provide 1:1 support to a Key Stage 2 pupil within the class.
We are looking for candidates who:
• English & Mathematics GCSE Grade A*-C or equivalent
• The ability to work as part of a team
• The ability to relate to children and other adults
• A commitment to supporting and understanding pupil needs
• The ability to use own initiative and take action accordingly
