Summary
Join mhs Homes, Medway’s largest housing association, and take charge of managing utilities across our estate. You’ll oversee 550+
landlord electricity, gas, and water meters, handle business rates and service charges, and manage an annual spend of over £1m.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage utilities for all properties, including corporate sites, schemes, voids, and new developments.
* Ensure accurate billing, submit meter reads, and complete Change of Tenancy requests.
* Lead smart meter upgrades and utility tenders to secure best rates.
* Process payments, maintain records, and provide performance reports.
* Act as the first point of contact for all utility queries and support sustainability goals.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience managing utilities and understanding energy markets.
* Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
Desirable: CEM, ISO 50001, IWFM Level 3+, housing sector experience.
