Your new company
Hays Recruitment is proud to be supporting a Warrington-based single-form entry primary school that is easily accessible via public transport as they are looking for an experienced and qualified teaching assistant to join their EYFS provision on a long-term full-time temporary basis. You will be joining an extremely supportive and welcoming school that is at the heart of its local community as a key player within their EYFS support team will be leaving due to long-term sickness. You will play an integral part in the education of a full class of pupils by utilising an array of learning equipment, promoting inclusivity, and collaborating with the class teacher to plan, prepare and deliver various learning activities in line with the curriculum.
Your new role
As a nursery class teaching assistant within this school your duties will include:
- Guided reading
- Learn through play to promote social and emotional development
- Planing and delivering sessions to support speech and language development
- 2-year-old checks
- Forest school activities
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered in your application, you must have full "Right to Work" in the UK, a level 3 children's care, learning and development or equivalent qualifications, and:
- Referenceable experience within a classroom environment
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS national curriculum
- Be able to commit to a long-term full-time contract consisting of 32.5 hours per week
