Summary
We are recruiting a Warehouse Operator on a temp-perm basis for our manufacturing client in Shrewsbury. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced warehouse, have high attention to detail and be able to collaborate with team members to optimise warehousing efficiency to meet daily deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
•Experience operating a Counterbalance & Multidirectional FLT
•Booking goods in and out using an ERP Computer system
•Loading and unloading vehicles
•Wrapping and labelling orders
•Inspection of finished cuts for defects, accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
•Collaborate with team members to optimise production efficiency and meet deadlines.
•Must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a face-paced environment.
•Flexibility to work rotating shifts (including early mornings and late evenings)
•Must be able to lift heavy materials
•Strong attention to detail and be able to follow all safety procedures
•Be competent in verbal and written communication to work with a team.
Hours of work:
2- week shift rotation
-Week 1 & 2 Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm (one Friday a month 8am-4:30pm)
-Week 3 & 4 Monday-Thursday 12pm-10:30pm
