Role Overview:
Deliver person-centred care and support to service users, helping them live with dignity and respect.
Assisting with personal care, hygiene, and mobility
Performing manual handling duties using appropriate equipment (e.g. hoists, slide sheets)
Supporting with meals, medication prompts, and companionship
Promoting independence and enhancing quality of life
Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the care team
Requirements:
Minimum 6 months experience in care work
Manual handling training and confidence using equipment
A caring, empathetic, and professional attitude
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Reliable, punctual, and good communication skills
