Teaching Assistant / Student Engagement MentorLocation: Wolverhampton | Contract: Term-time only | Hours: Full-time
Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them thrive? We are looking for a Teaching Assistant / Student Engagement Mentor to join a dedicated team in a specialist education setting.
Role Overview
- Work across the school with students aged 4-19
- Support emotional regulation and help students stay calm and ready to learn
- Enjoy a dynamic role with lots of movement around the school
- Be part of a supportive, experienced team that values collaboration
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to students in moments of heightened emotion
- Build positive relationships to promote resilience and well-being
- Collaborate with teachers and professionals to create a safe learning environment
What We're Looking For
- Calm, proactive, and patient approach
- Experience working with children or young people (SEND experience is an advantage)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
