Summary

First For Education are working with a lovely two-form-entry Primary school based in Worcester, assisting in their search for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.


This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a skilled and devoted team, supporting across Key Stages 1 and 2. You'll be working across different year groups, delivering focused 1:1 and small group intervention for pupils with SEND and complex needs, as well as supporting with general learning. You will work alongside teachers and TA's ensuring children are best supported in accordance with their needs.

The school is easily accessible via public transport, offers parking, and has outstanding learning and extracurricular facilities for their pupils.

What do the school require from you?
- Experience supporting children in Primary schools
- A passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
- Understanding of ASD, ADHD, speech and language delay, complex learning needs, and SEMH.
- Confident in your ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to challenging situations
- Resilience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- A proactive attitude and team mindset
