Our client, a well-established educational institution in Small Heath, City and Borough of Birmingham, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-time Primary Sports Coach to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the staff, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide young students in their physical education journey, fostering a love for sports and a healthy lifestyle.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and age-appropriate sports lessons to primary school students. Your main objective will be to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels encouraged to participate and develop their skills. You will design and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and cater to the diverse needs and abilities of your students.

As a Primary Sports Coach, you will:
- Teach a variety of sports and physical activities, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and individual growth
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback and support to help them reach their full potential
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to organise sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during lessons and activities, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding students' development and achievements

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Relevant degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience in teaching sports and physical education to primary school students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Creativity and adaptability in lesson planning and delivery
- First Aid and safeguarding certifications (desirable)
