Position: Technical Supervisor
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Supervisor in the North West. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless delivery of technical services on-site, acting as the primary point of contact for all technical operations. The successful candidate will oversee maintenance activities-planned, corrective, and reactive-while ensuring compliance with legislation, industry standards, and best practices. The objective is to deliver a best-in-class service that optimises resource productivity and minimizes operational disruptions.
Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all technical services comply with legislative, client, and internal health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Serve as the technical authority for all in-scope and out-of-scope activities, providing expert support across diverse technical services.
  • Lead and manage a team of technicians, driving self-performance and maximizing efficiency.
  • Oversee specialist subcontractors, ensuring adherence to compliance and safety requirements.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives in technical service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Site Leader to manage budgets in alignment with contractual obligations.
  • Provide solutions and quotations for minor project works and identify opportunities for expanded service offerings.
  • Perform maintenance and repair tasks when necessary, including emergency response and coverage for absences.
  • Maintain full accountability for technical service delivery on-site.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Strong computer literacy and familiarity with EHS standards.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and planning capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects to successful completion.
  • Solid engineering background with competency in estimating labor, materials, and required skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and provide clear, accurate instructions.
  • Knowledge of maintenance processes, work order systems, and scheduling best practices.
  • Capability to deliver training and demonstrate job-specific requirements.
  • Hands-on ability to execute maintenance and installation tasks to a high standard.
