We are seeking to recruit a well-organised, enthusiastic and adaptable professional to join our team. Job overviewThe role is for a part-time Office Assistant and Receptionist. The school office is a busy environment and we are looking for someone who can prioritise effectively, use systems and processes efficiently and can adapt to changes. We would welcome applications from candidates with an understanding of school life – whether you have previously worked in a school, been a governor, or volunteered. If you have not worked in a school, you should have alternative office experience. We ask that all applicants have previous experience of using IT systems and are willing to learn. Although there are routine tasks, every day is different. In this position, the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for stakeholders, representing the school. Interacting with parents, visitors, governors and children, as well as all the staff, you will be an integral part of the office team. The final hours will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate and will involve starting at 8.30am every morning from Monday-Friday during term time.
