Summary
About the Role
Tricuro is looking for an experienced Interim Reablement Service Manager to lead our Occupational Therapist led reablement service. This role is vital in helping people regain independence, reduce hospital stays and avoid long-term care.
You’ll provide visible leadership, drive service improvement and ensure high-quality, person-centred care, all while fostering a culture of innovation and empowerment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and inspire the reablement team, promoting engagement, accountability and wellbeing.
- Act as CQC Registered Manager, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Manage day-to-day service delivery and meet contractual obligations.
- Monitor performance, develop improvement plans and implement innovative approaches.
- Oversee staff recruitment, deployment, supervision and development.
- Collaborate with NHS, local authority and community partners to deliver integrated care.
- Travel between locations and respond to service demands, including on-call duties outside normal hours.
Who We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Registered Manager experience in social care, eligible for CQC registration.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Proven experience managing community-based reablement, domiciliary, or intermediate care services.
- Strong leadership, culture change, and performance management skills.
- Data-driven, analytical and IT confident.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable:
- Postgraduate qualification in Health, Social Care, or Leadership/Management.
- Experience in service transformation, turnaround management, or budget oversight.
- Knowledge of integrated care pathways, commissioning and CQC frameworks.
- Collaborative experience with NHS, local authority, or voluntary sector partners.
Contract: Interim – 6 months
