Summary
I am looking for a caring and empathetic person to join my small team as a personal assistant (PA). I’m a 47year old woman with a Neurological Condition and employ a team of PAs to enable me to live independently with my beloved dogs and my cat. Experience of care is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. For me, it’s more important to recruit someone who’s the right type of person. I have some key values that I look for in PAs:

reliable and trustworthy
knowing when it’s appropriate to step in and help
maintaining a balance between caring and supporting
a willingness to learn.
A good sense of humour is essential
Own transport is an advantage.

Daily tasks will include helping me to get washed and dressed, cooking and meal prep, shopping, assisting with household tasks and supporting me to access appointments and the community. You will work various hours over 3-4 days; with opportunities to work additional hours to cover staff holidays. approx. 16 hours per week
DBS to be arranged and paid for by the employer
5.6 weeks paid holiday per year.
