Week One - 30 hours - 4pm to 12am (32 hours, with 30 minutes unpaid break daily)
Week Two - 22.5 hours - 4pm to 12am (24 hours, with 30 minutes unpaid break daily)
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in our care home. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, ensuring residents' comfort, safety, and well-being. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives through personalised care and attentive service. The role requires excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a caring attitude.
Responsibilities
Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming in accordance with care plans
Supporting individuals with mobility and daily activities to promote independence
Administering medication( Topical) as directed by healthcare professionals and maintaining accurate records
Providing companionship and emotional support to residents or clients
Assisting with meal preparation and feeding where necessary
Maintaining a clean and safe environment in line with health and safety regulations
Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure personalised care delivery
Using IT systems to update care records and document relevant information accurately.
Experience
Previous experience working within a care home is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Valid driving licence is essential due to our location.
Compassionate nature with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
