Summary
To work in a kind and compassionate manner at all times with all people we engage with- residents, families and colleagues.
To support colleagues to deliver care support to residents with personal care tasks, personal hygiene in regular handwashing, full body washes, bathing and showers. Clothing: support to dress and undress in the persons choice of clothes, appropriate to the climate, and activity they are doing that day. Oral mouth care; to support teeth brushing, dentures brushing and mouth care. Nutrition, support in eating and drinking on a frequent basis of food items of their choice and line with SALT assessment. Mobility to support movement around the bed or chair, room, building or environment. Social engagement to support communication, participation, and engagement in daily activities. To support new colleagues to deliver care safely and in a person centred manner.
