Summary
Manchester Eating Disorders Service is seeking a dedicated, forward-thinking, and highly organised dietitian to join our dynamic and experienced team on a part-time basis (0.40 WTE/15 hours).
This is a unique opportunity to lead dietetic input alongside our part time band 6 dietitian, and work as part of a multidisciplinary adult community team. You will play a key role in delivering evidence-based dietetic care to adults accessing our service, as well as offering support to their families and carers.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in specialist mental health settings, embraces variety, and can work both independently and as part of a cohesive team. If you're enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to providing high-quality, timely, and person-centred care, this role is for you.
You will join a dedicated, friendly, and person-centred team with a diverse MDT consisting of:
• Clinical and Counselling Psychologists
• Dietitians
• CBT Therapists
• Support Worker
• Mental health Practitioners
• Specialist doctors
As the lead Dietitian for Manchester Eating Disorder Service, you will provide specialist clinical input across a wide-ranging and rewarding caseload.
Key areas include:
• Providing dietetic assessments, specialist advice, treatment, and dietary counselling for a clients with a range of eating disorders.
• Development and implementation of highly specialised care plans and risk assessments, adjusting them when required.
• Provide and maintain support for clients and their loved ones.
• Provide clinical supervision to junior staff.
• Utilise expertise to offer support and advice to members of the MDT.
