We are looking for a Lecturer in Business to join Buckinghamshire College Group, based at our Aylesbury Campus.
We currently deliver a variety of BTEC Level 3 programmes relating to Business and Management at our Aylesbury campus. The Level 3 Event Management and Visitor Economy course is a unique course and in particular explores both the Business and the Travel and Tourism industry, two extremely diverse topics. Business is a popular subject choice and has excellent applications and enrolment, and mixed with Travel and Tourism, can relate to a range of exciting future careers, from business management, to marketing, to travel representatives or event management! From exam preparation to practical event management projects and marketing content creation, we urge our students to explore and develop professional skills as well as learning key information about the Business and Travel world, which intertwine in many avenues.
Our results have been very good and there is an excellent track record of students' progression from Business courses onto Higher Education and employment. We are looking for experienced business teachers to join this growing department.
The successful candidate will be required to:

Taking Teaching Further
The College actively engages with the Education & Training Foundation's Taking Teaching Further scheme to recruit industry professionals to teach within Further Education.
As industry professionals offer our students industry experience and insight we support our unqualified teachers to learn 'on the job'. You will be given full support throughout your development to fully qualified teacher status. Whilst in employment you would be enrolled onto the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. After completion you can choose to move be onto our Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification. This is a great way for experienced professionals to achieve a recognised teaching qualification whilst in employment.
