We are looking to recruit Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) to join our high performing and creative team. This is an opportunity for a qualified PWP to develop their career. This role involves offering evidence-based practice in delivering low intensity interventions such as guided self-help and computerised CBT (SilverCloud) within an NHS Talking Therapies service. We also value experience or interest of delivering therapy in a group format.
You will be required to contribute towards areas of special interest as part of our focus group programme and equity initiatives.
We offer regular training opportunities providing teaching and CPD from peers, senior colleagues and external trainers.
Each PWP has a designated Line Manager and Case Manager and is expected to attend regular line management and case management meetings as well as supervision.
Our mission is to make a positive difference to people's lives by improving the quality of life for all we serve. Our values are: We Care, We Respect, We are Inclusive, we are looking for people who live and breathe these qualities when supporting service users and carers, and in their relationships with colleagues in the Trust and our partner organisations
This vacancy is offered as permanent posts, with the expectation that all clinical staff work one late evening per week (12pm until 8pm). We currently offer blended working, working from both home and from the office. We will continue to review this approach in line with future service needs.
If you have any further questions, please contact Meg Macindoe, PWP Team Lead on 01234 880400 for an informal discussion.
