This role is office-based; however, it also offers some agile or remote working.

Join our team as an Education Welfare Support Assistant and help support the delivery of the Isle of Wight Education Strategy through high-quality administrative work.

This vital role underpins the Education Welfare Service, contributing to statutory responsibilities that help children and families across the Island.

You’ll play a key part in managing processes related to Truancy Penalty Notices (TPNs) and the Single Justice Process (SJP), ensuring accurate data handling and timely follow-up.

We're looking for someone with:

excellent ICT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and database management, who can maintain records, assist with reporting;
and who can work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
