An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical Fellow to join the Gynaecology Department at St Michael’s Hospital, part of the University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust. Both posts include full shift on-call rota (3rd on call), including Obstetrics and Emergency Gynaecology cover. This means all applicants should be ready to start ST6 at the time of the post-commencing. The post-holder would have the opportunity to join the team and take up one of the following roles: Fellow in Paediatric & Adolescent Gynaecology (PAG) and Menopause Care OR Fellow in Paediatric & Adolescent Gynaecology (PAG) and Endometriosis.
Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatric & Adolescent Gynaecology (PAG) and Menopause Care
· Attendance at PAG clinics (Mondays) and Menopause clinics (Fridays)
· Co-ordination of the monthly PAG and Menopause MDTs
· The fellow will have the opportunity to lead a Quality Improvement project aimed at enhancing care for patients with Primary Ovarian Insufficiency (POI).
Senior Clinical Fellow in Paediatric & Adolescent Gynaecology (PAG) and Endometriosis
· Attendance at PAG and Endometriosis clinics
· Attendance at Endometriosis Clinics
· Training in specialist endometriosis ultrasound
· Exposure to theatre lists for excision of deep-infiltrating endometriosis, including rectovaginal disease – both laparoscopic and robotic
· Co-ordination of bimonthly endometriosis MDTs
· The fellow will have the opportunity to lead a research or quality improvement project, the nature of which will depend on the interests of the appointed individual
