About the Senior HR Advisor Role:
We’re looking for someone who’s been there, done it, and knows their way around employee relations and supporting managers to get things right. You’ll deliver a professional HR service across Forge Holiday Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring HR practices are consistent, compliant, and aligned with policies, employment law, and best practice.
Here’s the deal:
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum
Days of Work: Monday to Friday, with flexibility as required.
Team: Supportive, collaborative HR Ops - zero ego, all teamwork
Culture: Flexible, forward-thinking, and always looking for smarter ways to do HR
Work: Real ER & HR advisory - TUPE, restructures, grievance, disciplinary, sick absence, performance management, policy, coaching managers… all the fun stuff
Remote/ Regional: Ability to travel regularly to different regional locations as required, including occasional visits to Forge’s Head Office based in Chester
What You’ll Do:
Deliver professional HR support across Forge Holiday Group and its subsidiaries
Advise managers on ER cases: sickness, performance, disciplinary, grievance, flexible working, TUPE, redundancy, and restructures
Coach and support HR Advisors and managers, building skills, confidence, and capability across the organisation
Keep policies fresh, fair, and compliant with legislation and best practice
Collaborate with Recruitment, Payroll, L&D, and H&S for joined-up People magic
Deliver line manager training and embed HR best practice
Stay sharp on employment law, HR trends, and emerging people practices
What You’ll Bring:
✅ Proven HR/ER experience – advising managers, managing cases, and leading HR initiatives
✅ Ability to challenge and improve the “way it’s always been done”
✅ Love for problem-solving and making work better for people
✅ CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience, with strong technical HR knowledge
✅ Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation
