We are seeking a Qualified Teacher (QTS) for a rewarding role focusing on pupils in Years 3 and 4. This position offers the chance to lead your own classroom, delivering the full National Curriculum with creativity and energy. You will be instrumental in developing pupils' confidence, strengthening their core skills in Literacy and Numeracy, and transitioning them successfully into the middle phase of primary education.
Key Responsibilities

Assessment and Progress: Utilise formative and summative assessment techniques to accurately track pupil progress and effectively differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs.

Classroom Environment: Establish a positive, stimulating, and well-managed learning environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and independence among Year 3 and Year 4 pupils.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with Teaching Assistants and Phase Leaders to plan sequence of learning and address the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEND) and English as an Additional Language (EAL).

School Community: Engage proactively with parents, attending school meetings and playing a constructive role in the wider school community.
What We Look for in You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential (UK or recognised equivalent). Applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with LKS2 placement experience are welcomed.

Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Years 3 or 4) is mandatory.

Comprehensive knowledge of the LKS2 National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.

Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire pupils aged 7-9.

A high level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and commitment to continuous improvement.

A fully enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one) registered on the Update Service.
