Summary
It’s a varied role, so you’ll never be bored! Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll be using the till, helping customers and supporting the volunteers in organising how donations are sorted, priced and presented in the store. The focus of our work at each store varies, so you could be involved in planning and helping to deliver our workshops, parties and events. You could also be asked to play
a role in making sure our WEEE project (Waste from Electrical & Electronic Equipment) runs efficiently, safely and in line with legislation and statutory guidance.
The person we are looking for will have great interpersonal and customer service skills. Creativity, and an interest in arts, crafts, upcycling and/or re-purposing is advantageous. You’ll need to be reasonably fit to do this role and enjoy it. Training and support are given where needed. We provide time off in lieu when events take place outside of normal working hours.
