Job Title: Bricklayer / Renderer
Location: Blackburn
Pay Rate: £23 per hour
Start Date: Monday Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Bricklayer / Renderer to join our team on a project based in Blackburn. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing exterior surfaces and applying a variety of render finishes to a high standard. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare exterior surfaces (brick, block, concrete, insulation boards) for rendering.
• Apply various types of render finishes (e.g., sand and cement, monocouche, silicone, acrylic, lime-based renders).
• Use hand tools and/or spray equipment for application, depending on the render type.
• Ensure all work is completed to specification, with attention to detail and surface finish.
• Mix materials to the correct ratios and consistency.
• Protect surrounding areas with sheeting and masking before application.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Work at height using scaffolding, ladders, or platforms as required.
• Perform post-job clean-up and waste removal.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, contractors, and other trades on-site.
Requirements:

Proven experience in rendering, plastering, or external finishing.

Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and application techniques.

CSCS card preferred.

Own tools and PPE required.

Reliable, professional, and able to work to deadlines.
