Summary
Urgently required a Production Operative to work for a local manufacturing company based in Northampton.
Hours are Monday to Friday 08.00-16.30pm.
This role is temp to perm.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various machinery and equipment, with a focus on quality control and precision. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while adhering to safety standards and operational procedures.
Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor production machinery, including SMD, Pnuemetic and Manual operated machinery.
• Perform basic programming tasks using manual and automated programmers.
• Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as callipers and micrometres to ensure product specifications are met.
• Read and interpret work instructions designs to execute manufacturing processes accurately.
• Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of production goals.
• Handle materials safely, for transportation within the manufacturing facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
• Previous factory or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively for assembly tasks.
• Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
• Experience with quality control processes and materials handling is beneficial.
