We are looking for an experience Quality Manager to join our Radiology team based at Southend.

You will be a key member of the Radiology team, leading on preparing MSE Radiology for accreditation with the Quality Standard for Imaging (QSI) and the ongoing maintenance of the accreditation.

You will have key skills and abilities to promote a quality culture and manage quality improvement in all Radiology areas across MSE. By keeping up to date with Local and National policy, regulations, legislation and guidance, you will be able to facilitate continuous improvement within Radiology.

Your role is intrinsically linked to Clinical Governance, Risk Management and External Assessment particularly where these functions overlap into the maintenance of a quality service to patients.

So, if this sounds like the right role for you - please apply today.

• Establish productive working relationships across the Directorate and Divisional teams including liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Work across the Radiology directorate assisting in the production of a schedule of external visits. Lead on QSI accreditation and co-ordination of evidence collection pertaining to QSI and any external visits and inspections including CQC.
• Oversee the use of Q-pulse across MSE Radiology. Lead, develop and monitor the recommendations and action plans in relation to QSI, CQC requirements, external visits and inspections.
• Monitor progress against the ‘Well Led’ CQC Key Lines of Enquiry, liaising with nominated leads.
• Work closely with the Radiation Protection supervisors to ensure compliance with regulations and reporting to CQC is complete.
• Attend mandatory training, in-service and staff development training and any further training and courses of study relevant to the post as agreed with management.
• Contribute to the on-going evaluation and development of the post and improve own knowledge utilising the appraisal system.
• Process, review and analyse highly complex information, including statistical data and audit information, to inform and advise on governance standards and processes.
• Provide advice and guidance to staff working on QSI led projects and attend the Radiology Clinical Governance Committee meetings to update the management team of progress.

Our ambition is to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and well being of our patients, and provide a vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers.

We aim to make the most of our skills and experiences so we can become the best we can be. As one organisation we will recruit the finest and retain more specialist staff due to more employment opportunities across our Trust.

Are you looking for an exciting new role using your unique qualities, then we want to hear from you.
