These exciting fellowships offer opportunity for experienced intensive care doctorswith at least 18 months anaesthetic experienceto broaden their skills in ICU. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their educational CV, gain POCUS accreditation, undertake research or explore their leadership / management potential. There are also opportunities within the burgeoning field of Digital Health and Innovation.
The successful clinical fellow should be highly motivated and participate inquality improvement projects, teaching and research, with a view to both local and national presentations.
The position will allow the post holder to cover a number of the areas set out in the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine and Royal College of Anaesthetists recommendations for specialist training in anaesthesia and intensive care. We can support Portfolio Pathway (CESR) competencies for the ICM or Anaesthetic curricula CCT.
Applicants should be registered with the GMC and must have at least 5 or more years of Post-Graduation medical experience. Candidates should have at least 18 months of anaesthetic / airway experience. Applicants should be capable of delivering Intensive Care Medicine at ST3+ (Registrar) level or equivalent. Support can be provided for the Primary FRCA exam if not obtained.
