Our Cancer Centre has an international reputation for delivering world-class care to patients with both common and rare cancers. Serving over 1.5 million people across northeast London, Essex and further afield, we provide specialist cancer services supported by cutting-edge technology and an expert multidisciplinary team.

About the Radiotherapy Service
Based at the internationally renowned St Bartholomew’s Hospital in the heart of the City of London, our radiotherapy department offers a dynamic and forward-thinking environment where you’ll have the opportunity to work with advanced techniques and the latest innovations in cancer treatment.

Our current equipment includes:

· Five Varian TrueBeam linacs; two with 6DoF couch. Upgrades planned throughout 2025 and 2026 include a fleet upgrade to Hypersight, RapidArc Dynamic and SGRT on four TrueBeam linacs and one linac replacement with a Varian ETHOS unit.

· XStrahl orthovoltageandBravos HDR brachytherapyintergraded onto the Radiotherapy ARIA network.

· Siemens Somatom Confidence CTfor pre-treatment imaging andVarian Eclipse TPSfor treatment planning.

We deliver a wide range of advanced techniques, including IMRT, IGRT, TBI, DIBH, SABR, ART, stereotactic radiosurgery (HyperArc) and gynaecological brachytherapy.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivatedBand 5 Therapeutic Radiographerto join our team. This is a rotational post covering all areas of the department, including pre-treatment imaging, treatment delivery and brachytherapy
