We are seeking an experienced and proactive Soft Services Manager to lead the delivery of cleaning, reception, and workplace services at Whitehall.
You’ll play a key role in creating an environment that enhances well-being, productivity, and collaboration while ensuring consistently high service standards.
Job Description
Working closely with the Workplace Experience Manager, Key Account Manager, and client team, you’ll ensure that all soft services operate efficiently, safely, and in line with both contractual requirements and the client’s expectations.
This is a hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to make a visible impact and drive continuous improvement from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for all soft services on site.
Oversee the delivery of cleaning, pest control, grounds maintenance, reception, mail, and porterage services.
Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team - including recruitment, training, performance, payroll, and well-being management.
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards, legal obligations, and contractual commitments.
Lead on risk assessments, SOPs, and COSHH documentation, supporting the Cleaning Supervisor as required.
Monitor and report on quality standards, attendance, and service performance.
Manage procurement processes, including Billable Work Orders, POs, goods receipting, and invoice approvals.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven experience managing multi-service FM operations, particularly within cleaning and front-of-house environments.
Strong knowledge of cleaning methodologies, HSE compliance, and workplace standards.
Effective leader with the ability to motivate teams and deliver results in a high-profile environment.
Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management and Microsoft Office skills.
Flexible, hands-on approach with a focus on service excellence and continuous improvement.
