About the Team:

We are recruiting an Occupational Therapy Assistant for our Information Contact and Assessment Service.

This is a very exciting time to join Lambeth as occupational therapy is undergoing a programme of transformative change to meet the ambitious goals of our borough plan and support the integration of health and social care.

About the Role:

The role of the Occupational Therapy Assistant will be to:

• Promote and maintain independence for vulnerable and disabled service users, focusing on the assessment for, and provision of, equipment and adaptations.

• Assess the functional needs of service users and their careers in line with relevant legislation and departmental policy.

• Assess and write recommendations for simple major adaptations such as level access showers and stairlifts
