An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Progress Coach to join our Construction. Engineering & Service Industries team reporting to our Curriculum Manager. This department delivers high-quality education and training to prepare the next generation of skilled professionals for the modern workplace. The department is home to a hard-working, friendly, and supportive team of lecturers, technicians, and support staff who are passionate about inspiring learners and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.


As a Progress Coach with Redcar and Cleveland College you will be responsible for planning and delivering group tutorial sessions across the department, as well as provide one-to-one and small group support to help learners meet their individual targets. You will monitor progress closely, maintaining accurate records in line with college procedures, and ensure that effective support strategies are in place to meet the needs of each learner.



The ideal candidate will be approachable, organised, and a proactive team player with a genuine passion for helping learners succeed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential.


Previous experience of working within an educational setting will be beneficial, with specific training provided for the delivery of group tutorials. High levels of maths & English is essential in order to support learners across all programmes, with a Level 3 qualification within a subject area being advantageous. Schedule

Working days are Monday – Friday, 8.30-5pm, with flexible lunch breaks
This position is Term Time Only + 2 weeks, a total of 39 weeks per year
