As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating moments of joy, comfort, and dignity for residents. You’ll lead by example, guiding and supporting your team while ensuring every individual receives the highest quality of person-centred care.

What We’re Looking For



  • Level 3 Health and Social Care (minimum)

  • Experience working within residential, nursing, or dementia care settings.

  • Empathetic, patient, and committed to person-centred care.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to stay calm and positive under pressure.

Key Responsibilities



  • Deliver exceptional personal and emotional care to residents, promoting dignity and independence.

  • Support, mentor, and motivate care assistants to maintain outstanding standards of care.

  • Administer medication safely and accurately, following care plans and procedures.

  • Collaborate with nurses, families, and external healthcare professionals to ensure holistic support.

  • Contribute to creating a positive, homely, and engaging environment for residents.

  • Maintain accurate records and report any changes in residents’ health or wellbeing.
